The Brief
Riders were abandoning bookings at the pickup step. The goal was a booking flow that takes fewer taps and makes the driver's arrival obvious at every moment.
We also looked at app reviews and support chats, where riders described the same moments of doubt in their own words.
Our Approach
We mapped the journey from request to drop-off, removed two screens from the booking path and replaced the status text with a live map and a single clear next step.
Each change was tested on a prototype with riders in different cities before it went to the developers, so we only built what proved faster.
Fewer screens, a live map and one obvious next step now carry the rider from request to drop-off without second guessing.
